Bullet Journal Month Blog Planners

My First 3 Bullet Journal Blog planners

This weekend my best friend and I went away to our cabin by the lake. A weekend of reading and watching movies. Just a chance to be still and quiet for a change. I spent most of my day drawing my new months layouts, including my third attempt at adding my blog planners into the mix.

Since I started using my Bullet Journal I have been adding more and more blog related pages and they have become incredibly handy! I have tried 3 different layouts now and they all have their merits. This little blog of mine is still coming into it’s own and rarely are two months the same so far, but I think I’m getting the hang out it now and I am on the right path.

February’s Blog Planner

My first blog planner is a two page spread and can be broken up into three different categories, brainstorming, tasks and editorial. On the left hand side I drew out 3 boxes for the three main topics of my blog. To the right of that I had a task list…it got very full very fast. Under that I had a section to track the Adventure Planner Printable Layouts that I am working on.

The second page was dedicated to the editorial calendar. I listed the days down the left side and added a tracker for social media promotion.

March’s Blog Planner

I really liked my editorial section for the month before, and I obviously still needed a task list so I transferred those right over!

The biggest struggle I have when it comes to blogging is finding a routine and making it a habit. I’m really trying to get better at this so I added a habit tracker. I can’t say that every square is being filled out but it does help me when I sit down in the morning and I’m not sure where to start. This included social media engagement and actual productive tasks like writing and checking for new comments (Which I love getting BTW)

I still wanted space to brainstorm post ideas so I added a separate page for it. I decided that I would always want to bring these lists forward to the next month so I used post it notes to write on. (*Spoiler – I don’t transfer those sticky notes but decided to use a different type because my mind is scattered and changing all the time.)

April’s Blog Planner

This month I went all sorts of crazy and decided on doing not just one all new layout but three! I wanted to be able to schedule tasks as well as posts. I decided to go with a nice big calendar and I decided to try and preschedule a few things a week – more as reminders to do them. Hopefully it will keep me on track.

On the next two pages I created a post planner for brainstorming and a social media tracker. Building up my followers is going to be a big focus starting now!

  3. These are great! I’m so curious about the bullet journaling method, but I’m worried I won’t have the time to keep it up.

    1. Check out the minimalist style. My Bujo is not minimal because I do have the time and I love the creativity side of it, but there are a lot of people out there with very busy lives that are keeping one going and finding it amazingly useful. It is what you want it to be.

  4. I utilize a similar concept for my bullet journal. I have tried doing the normal planners and they just don’t work for me. Congrats for finding a method that works for you!

  5. I’ve had a bullet journal since 2015, and they’re so great for organizing. I love mine!
