Hello February + Welcome!
And hello to all you wonderful people, and thank you for taking your time to come check out my little blog! Life’s Simple Adventures is 6 Months old and my how it’s grown! I’ll be honest, I’m actually pretty proud of myself for sticking with it! I have a horribly short attention span for most things but I have made this one stick. It helps that it’s ever-changing and always motivating.
When I started this site I had no idea what I really wanted it to be about. I went with a general lifestyle theme and wrote about anything that came to me. Slowly now, I am narrowing down the topics and trying to build myself a brand in the health and wellness sector. I have met new and fantastic bloggers and I have tried to form some partnerships. I’m proud to say that the next 6 months will really be worth sticking around for.
What to expect from February
I have a lot on my plate now between things that I want to do, should do and have to do so I’m going to be honest with myself and say… I will do the best I can. I will be starting my next course tomorrow in my long line of forever learning and broadening my scope of practice in the fitness world. I really hate going to school but man do I love learning! A lot of my energy is going to have to be focused on studying but I have a few priorities on top of that. My goals for February are:
- Make a garden plan and start planting
- Get to 30 laps (round trip)- part of my 30 before 30 challenge to myself
- Run Twice a week (I’m building up to 5K…Check out my Fitness Trackers
- Build the website for my business that I am trying to start
- Plan and book a Honey Moon and my Solo Birthday Trip
On top of that I want to post more quality content to the site, and add a few new things that I have been playing with in my mind.
This is a recent addition to the site and to my life. I have always kept a basic journal where I recorded the happenings in my life. It’s always been very therapeutic for me, allowing me to get all my feelings out. Recently though I have decided to spice things up a bit and try out this Bullet Journalling thing. I must say I am very much enjoying it! Bullet journalling gives me a sense of control over my life. Plans laid out in neat and pretty designs all in one little book, there for me to reference. I don’t use it as a day to day planner but more of a life planner.

I have personally gone from being a lazy couch potato to taking the steps to become a personal trainer.
